Gift Aid Awareness Day – Thursday 9th October 2025
Gift Aid is a government scheme that enables registered charities to reclaim the tax donors have already paid on their donations. For every £1 donated, charitable organisations can reclaim 25p, and it doesn’t cost a penny!
Gift Aid Awareness Day is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about how Gift Aid can help parishes maximise the support they receive from parishioner donations at no extra cost. Although the day focusses our attention on the fundraiser, Gift Aid can be promoted all year around and there are a number of new resources to help explain how it works.
