Parishes, Partnerships & Schools

Welcome

Whether you’re new to the faith, or a regular church goer, our parishes aim to provide a warm welcome and safe space to support your journey in faith.

Partnerships are a group of parishes working together and sharing resources to become stronger and better equipped for furthering the Kingdom of God.

There are 156 Catholic schools of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle ensuring children and young people receive the very best educational opportunities and life fulfilling experiences which have the teachings of Christ and his Church at the very centre.

Partnerships

Partnerships

Our Partnerships seek to ensure viable and flourishing communities of people who want to deepen their commitment to Jesus and witness to him in our world.

We have seventeen Partnerships – established to help churches within a close geographical proximity to share, support and grow together.

Schools

There are approximately 56,000 children and young people in the 156 Catholic schools of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Diocese consists of 136 first / infant / junior / primary schools and 20 secondary schools.

We work to ensure that they will continue to receive the very best educational opportunities and life fulfilling experiences, within communities which have the teachings of Christ and his Church at the very centre.
