We are a support group for and run by Catholics in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, who identify as LGBT+ or who are questioning their sexual or gender identity. We are part of the Vicariate of Caritas.
Friends and family members are welcome to join us.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at St. Andrew’s RC Church in Newcastle, for a varied programme. It is also possible to connect through Zoom.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 20 May 2025, Proud Catholics will be meeting in St Andrew’s RC Church, 9 Worswick Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 6UW at 7.30pm for their Annual General Meeting and to vote for new members of the Committee and get involved with the inner workings of Proud Catholics.
Please bring snacks and/or drinks to share with everyone.
