CAFOD’s annual pilgrimage to Holy Island, in partnership with the Archbishop Romero Trust is taking place this year on Saturday, 20th June. This year, we are also delighted to be joined by the Columban Missionaries of Britain, who are making Mission Appeals in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle this year.
Coaches (organised by parishes) can meet at Purdy Lodge, and travel in convoy to Holy Island at 10:45am, where walkers will depart from the first refuge on the Causeway at 11:30am.
Non-walkers are welcome to join for a service at St. Mary’s Church at 12 noon.
Mass will be celebrated at 3pm in St. Mary’s Church.
