The Jubilee Year 2025
The theme for the Jubilee Year is Pilgrims of Hope. The Diocesan Department of Education is liasing with Faith and Mission and the Youth Ministry Team to support our schools by providing resources and reflections throughout the year around the theme of hope. These will be shared on a monthly basis. The themes for the coming year will be:
January: Friday 24 January 2025 – Opening of doors – launch day for schools
February: What is hope?
March: School based pilgrimages
April: Taking hope home
May: Signs of Hope
June: Jubilee Day – It has been agreed that all schools across our Diocese will celebrate a Jubilee Day together; this will be Friday 27 June 2025. During the day, schools are invited to reflect upon their mission and to commit to stand in solidarity with the poorest communities, sharing hope and challenging injustice by pledging to take concrete actions to make their communities, country and world a better place.

September: Hopes for the coming academic year
October: Global pilgrimages
November: Friday 21 November 2025 Jubilee Finale
December: Advent mission – passing hope forward
