Elif Gulmen, a Community Reporter for Chronicle Live has reported on how Tyne & Wear Citizens have been working to hold local and national institutions to account, so they respond better to people experiencing hate crime.

A recent event held at West End Women & Girls Centre, supported by Tyne & Wear Citizens, allowed local women to gather to find ways to put social actions into place for hate crime events occurring against women and girls in the region.
