The Diocesan Office is upgrading its phone system, resulting in a new way to reach individuals or teams.
This change will occur on Thursday 5 September, and the phones will be down until the transition is complete. This disruption is expected to last up to 4 hours.
Initially, there will be a single contact number, 0191 243 3300, that will direct your call to the appropriate person via an auto attendant (direct dials will be reintroduced in a few weeks). If you know the extension of the person you need to speak with, you can enter it when the auto attendant answers. Staff extensions will be distributed via email to parishes and shared on email signatures.
