As part of the Year of Jubilee 2025, Pope Francis has called us to consider how we are Pilgrims of Hope in today’s world.

The Jubilee of Ecclesial Movements, Associations and New Communities will be celebrated on 7 – 8 June, and the Charismatic Diocesan Service of Communion (CDSC) team have shared where they find hope through their work with the CHARIS team. Their messages of hope can be viewed below:

In his May 2023 prayer intention series, Pope Francis prayed for ecclesial movements and groups, saying, “These movements renew the Church with their capacity for dialogue at the service of her evangelizing mission. Each group has its own unique charism, which allows them to demonstrate both the beauty and the novelty of the Gospel proclamation.” Pope Francis encouraged them to “always be on the move, responding to the impulse of the Holy Spirit to the challenges in today’s world,” while remaining “in harmony with the Church, since harmony is the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

In this Year of Jubilee, we are called to celebrate hope and where it may be for others.
If you’ve got a story, testimony or example you want to share then upload a clip to the Minutes of Hope project, and it will help inspire hope in those who see it during the year of Jubilee and beyond.
