Bishop Robert will celebrate Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral on Wednesday 22 June in thanksgiving for a combined 670 years of priestly service from this year’s Jubilarians.
The Mass, at which all are welcome, will be celebrated at St Mary’s Cathedral, Clayton Street West, at 12.05pm. For those unable to join in person, the Mass will also be live-streamed to the Cathedral’s YouTube channel. Click Here
This year’s Jubilarians are:
Fr John O’Gorman, retired and in residence at St Joseph’s Home in Newcastle who will celebrate his Platinum Jubilee.
Fr Mark Carroll, Fr Patrick Kennedy, Fr Seamus McGivern, Fr Michael McKenna, Fr Patrick O’Connell and Fr Anthony Owens will all celebrate their Diamond Jubilee.
Fr Brendan Kelly, Fr Jim O’Keefe and Fr Gordon Ryan will be celebrating their Golden Jubilee
Fr Philip Quinn is celebrating his Ruby Jubilee.
Canon Simon Lerche and Fr Graham Williams are both celebrating their Silver Jubilee.
