Carmel Teacher Training Programme (CTTP) have announced a number of initiatives for individuals that are interested in a career in teaching or who have begun their initial teacher training degrees.

Teacher Training Virtual Drop-in Sessions

Carmel Teaching Training Programme (CTTP) are hosting two virtual drop-in sessions on Wednesday 16 February 2022. Carmel Teaching Training Programme (CTTP) Teaching Internships

CTTP’s Internship Programme has just launched! 3-week placements will be held from the end of June and Interns get paid £300 a week as well as gaining excellent classroom experience and an insight into the wonderful career of teaching.

If you are an undergraduate on a STEM related degree and are interested in teaching secondary maths, physics, Frend, Spanish or computing, then the Teaching Internship could be perfect for you.

Pre Initial Teaching Training Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE)

Carmel College is working with St John’s School and Sixth Form College to develop SKE courses for any potential trainees that need some added subject knowledge for their teacher training qualification to get off to a flying start. Candidates must have been accepted on an ITT course and must have been identified as requiring SKE.
