St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School

A Newcastle primary has received a glowing Ofsted report, which singled out the caring ethos of the school and the positive behaviour of the pupils’. St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary in Kenton was described as providing “an environment that is caring, supportive and highly inclusive” where pupils “thrive”.

The curriculum has been brought vividly to life for children at a Newcastle primary school, with the introduction of a colourful mural and a themed new library.

Children and their parents in Newcastle came together to enjoy books and refreshments – all while raising money for a deserving cause. Pupils of all ages at St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in North Kenton and St George’s Catholic Primary School in Newcastle took part in a series of Reading Cafes to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
