THIS COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This short course looks at how we welcome those who come to us for Mass and the Sacraments. It will help us review how we keep in touch with newcomers and occasional visitors, as well as keep track of long-established parishioners. We look at how we engage as a community with those who come to Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals as guests and well-wishers.
Parish priests are invited to indicate if they would like to send participants to the course.
The course consists of two sessions:
Venue: St Hilda’s Diocesan Resource Centre, West Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 7PY
- Session 1: Monday 6 October 2025, 7.00 – 9.00pm
- Session 2: Saturday 11 October 2025, 10.30am – 3.00pm (includes a Commissioning Service) *
*Participants to bring their own packed lunch for the day (Saturday) session – tea and coffee provided.
Cost: £10 per participant. (Introductory price).
If you would like to come along, please contact your parish priest to discuss with him, and then he (or the parish secretary) can complete a registration form on your behalf.
