As part of the Year of Jubilee 2025, Pope Francis has called us to consider how we are Pilgrims of Hope in today’s world.
The Jubilee of Bishops will be celebrated on 25 June, and this Jubilee falls within a week of Jubilee celebrations for all members of the clergy.
When ordaining two new Bishops in 2021, Pope Francis reflected on the role of a bishop, reflecting that it is a “call to a life of service … You will be custodians of the faith, of service, of charity in the Church and to mirror God’s compassion and tenderness.”
