In this special Year of Jubilee, all are welcome to join CAFOD and the Archbishop Romero Trust, on their pilgrimage to Holy Island on Saturday 13 September 2025.
Bring your Parish, School or local community together to arrange transport and join us for this special pilgrimage in this Year of Prayer.
Meeting Points:
- 10.00am: Coaches meet at Purdy Lodge café (café on the A1, Adderstone, Warenford, Belford NE70 7JU) to travel in convoy to Holy Island causeway.
- 11.30am – 11.45am: Walkers meet at 1st refuge on the causeway to cross the sands.
- Non-walkers are welcome to join service in St Aidan’s Catholic Church at 12.00 noon. Lunch: bring or buy your own.
- 3.00pm: Mass in St Mary’s Church.
