We are a support group for and run by Catholics in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, who identify as LGBT+ or who are questioning their sexual or gender identity. We are part of the Vicariate of Caritas.
Friends and family members are welcome to join us.
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at St. Andrew’s RC Church in Newcastle, for a varied programme. It is also possible to connect through Zoom.
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 15 April 2025, Proud Catholics will be meeting in St Andrew’s RC Church, 9 Worswick Street, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 6UW at 7.30pm where Frankie will take you through the Stations of the Cross in time for the end of Lent.
There will be social time in the Chaplaincy afterwards – please bring snacks and/or drinks to share with everyone.
