In 2022 the Bishop and Board commissioned research with a view to receiving recommendations on improving Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across the Diocese. This piece of work was led by expert consultant Ngozi Lyn Cole.
A successful period of consultation was followed by learning and development sessions on the theme of “Being the kind of Christians God wants us to be” which involved Clergy, employees, volunteers and parishioners. Further to this preparatory work the Bishop and Trustees have reviewed the findings and are now considering next steps which is likely to involve exploring the development of strategy and associated training.
