Opening Ceremony: Year of Jubilee

We invite you to join us and celebrate the formal opening of the Year of Jubilee 2025 on the Feast of the Holy Family.
Bishop Stephen Wright, Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle, will celebrate the 11.30am Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle to formally open the Jubilee Year. He will then travel to St Joseph’s Church, Hartlepool for a Mass at 4.00pm for the opening its Holy Door. All are welcome to celebrate with Bishop Stephen as we mark the beginning of this Holy Year as One Diocesan Family.
