St Bede’s Choral Group, Jarrow and Hexham and Newcastle’s Diocesan Choir Present, A Christmas Concert “People look East” taking place on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 December 2024 from 7.00pm.
The programme for this year’s Christmas Concerts at St Bede’s, Jarrow is varied with the old favourites, some with a new twist, and others that may be new. The composers range from Mozart and Rutter to Mykola Leontoch, a Ukrainian composer, and James E Clemens, who has arranged our title song, People Look East, based on a poem by Eleanor Farjeon. There will be an organ recital too. Please come and join us in this second collaboration between the Diocesan Choir and St Bede’s Choral Group as we lead you through song to the light of that will come at Christmas.
Tickets cost £5 each, but it is free for children. Proceeds will go to Charity.
