During Ushaw’s years as a seminary, Evening Prayer was said or sung in St. Cuthbert’s Chapel every day, and was very much part of life at Ushaw. On Sunday 17 November at 4.00pm, please join us for Sung Vespers in St Cuthbert’s Chapel at Ushaw.
Please note that this is not a concert performance, but an opportunity to pray together the Evening Prayer of the Church for the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. As the format of this service may be new to some people, we will also be offering some reflections on praying Vespers as a group.
