The stories of our lives define the way in which we live and think. They are shaped by the culture around us, the country we grew up in and maybe even the geography of our environment.
Consequently, our stories and the things we hold to be true can be slightly or very different to those of other people. Every now and again in the light of new revelations (theories of evolution, relativity, for example), we tweak our stories. We also have a story about God and what that word means to us. This day offers an opportunity to explore our ideas about God through mandala making, pantoum writing and other resources to think about the relevance of our ideas in the culture in which we live today. Is it time to rethink our stories and reshape some of our ideas? Starts at 10.00am and ends at 4.00pm. Please bring a packed lunch.
