LOUDfence is a tool to enable and empower faith communities to begin addressing the harm caused by abuse perpetuated by anyone in faith-based settings. On 1 May 2025, Bishop Stephen Wright will attend a liturgy of prayer and reflection at St Paul’s Church in Alnwick and afterwards people will be invited to tie messages of support around the outside of the church.
To facilitate this, St Mary’s Cathedral is holding a craft workshop on Saturday 1 February to create the display materials.
