Road to Emmaus: Journeying Together
This quote leapt out at me when I attended Synod meetings.
I have been extremely privileged to host two online sycamore.fm get togethers. Sycamore opens up the heart of the Christian message and helps people to grow in faith. The films give an inspiring vision of Catholic Christianity. They involve some clear teaching and thought-provoking testimonies. The discussion groups, even online, help people grow in friendship and build a sense of community.
This was evident in the people who took part. They showed an amazing openness and willingness to share and listen to each other’s stories. It epitomised the “journeying together” in the quote above.
I invite you to join me on such a journey this Lenten season. We will gather online each Sunday from 6 March to 10 April at 4.00pm until 5.15pm. Why not invite a friend to come along too?
