Canon Stephen Watson invites you to experience the “Centenary Pilgrim Virgin Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary” (CPVS-IHM) at St Paul’s on the 14 May 2022.

The event is being coordinated with the World Apostolate of Fatima (England & Wales) who promote Fatima Spirituality through a National Pilgrim Virgin Statue Visitation Programme.

The event is especially significant given the recent consecration of Russia and the Ukraine to Our Lady on 25 March 2022 by Pope Francis to bring about world peace.

The statue visitation is also used to promote the devotion of the first five Saturdays of Reparation to Our Lady, a request that was made by Jesus and Mary to Sister Lucia on 10th of December 1925 at PonteVedra, Spain. We will soon celebrate the 100th anniversary of this request and it is planned to visit all the Cathedrals in England and Wales in 2025 to celebrate this event. This is why the Statue is named “Centenary Pilgrim Virgin Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary”.
