The annual Rossing Center lecture in memory of Daniel Rossing and on the occasion of Dr. Amnon Ramon’s new book: “Christianity & Christians in the Jewish State”.

The book Christians and Christianity in the Jewish State by Dr. Amnon Ramon describes the complex reality of Christian communities living in the State of Israel. In this context, Christians are essentially a minority within a minority, firstly among Israeli-Jews and secondly among Arab-Palestinians. At the same time, this small minority enjoys extensive and strong connections with the wider Christian world. All these elements influence the way in which Churches and Christians understand themselves and the reality they operate in. In the conversation we will look at issues that arise from the book and the speakers will discuss a variety of topics relating to Church-state relations in Israel.

The book is published by the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue and the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research.
