CAFOD Hexham and Newcastle invite you to join them for a talk by one of their oversea partners. Taking place on Thursday 26 October, from 7.00pm at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 5EB.

We are delighted to welcome Carlos Revilla to Newcastle from Bolivia to speak about his work for one of our CAFOD partners.

Carlos will tell us about the severe water contamination in the region between La Paz and Lake Titicaca known as the Katari water basin which gravely affects families dependent on farming.

Carlos works with communities and universities to implement practices to enable rural farming families to decontaminate water from the rivers that they depend on for irrigation and feeding their animals.

Please come along and hear from Carlos about the work that he does and the challenges he faces. If you would like any more details, please email Rachel: rblaylock@cafod.org.uk.

Everyone is welcome, please do try and join us.
