St Joseph’s Parish Birtley have been accredited with CAFOD’s Live Simply Award.
The award will be presented to the Parish by Mark Maughan, CAFOD’s Community Participation Coordinator, at a Presentation and Information evening in St Joseph’s Catholic Club and Parish Centre on Tuesday 26th April at 7.45pm, following 7.00pm Mass in St Joseph’s Church.
Following the presentation of the award, the CAFOD Live Simply team in St Joseph’s Parish will explain how they went about achieving the accreditation and how the Parish will continue to embrace and expand on the Live Simply principles in the future.
An invitation is extended to any Parish, Partnership, School, or other group who may be considering Live Simply to come along to this meeting and hear at first hand the experience of St Joseph’s.
