Fr Patrick McKenna RIP
Fr Pat was ordained to the priesthood on 10 June 1967.
He has faithfully served the people of our Diocese in the following parishes:

Durham: St Joseph’s, July 1967 – August 1972
Newcastle: English Martyrs, September 1972 – August 1981
Ministry Abroad
Peru 1981 – 1986
Parish Priest
Wallsend: St Columba’s, September 1986 – May 1996
Stockton: St Mary’s from May 1996, then
Stockton: St Mary’s and St Bede’s, November 1996 – December 2017
Retired
Stockton: St Bede’s (in residence) December 2017 – March 2022
Sunderland: Holy Cross Home – March 2022 – April 2026
Funeral Arrangements
Fr Pat’s Mass of Reception will be at 6pm on Tuesday 5th May at St Bede’s, Stockton.
Bishop Stephen will celebrate his Requiem Mass, at St Bede’s, at 12noon on Wednesday 6th May.
Fr Pat will be cremated at Stockton Crematorium, this is for family and close friends only.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
