It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Fr Kevin Daly late last evening, 6 December, in hospital.
Please remember Fr Kevin in your prayers and pray for the repose of his soul.
Fr Kevin’s body will be received into St James’, Hebburn at 5.30pm on Thursday 30 December.
Canon Peter Leighton will celebrate the Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Friday 31 December at St James’. The Mass will be followed by cremation at South Tyneside Crematorium.
May he rest in peace.
Father Kevin Daly, born 3 March 1949, died on 6 December 2021; he was 72 years of age.
Father Kevin was ordained to the priesthood on 24 June 1978. He has faithfully served the people of our Diocese in the following parishes:
