Fr David Smith returned from Muhoroni with some fantastic photographs which he now shares.
He explained:
“It’s wonderful to see how a lectern and celebrant’s chair have been added to the altar at St Augustine of Hippo RC Sugar Factory School.
“This now makes a lovely outside chapel area for the children of the school and the families from the sugar factory housing.
“Fr Joseph will be able to get a lift to the chapel after his 7.00am Sunday Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace and once a month go to the sugar factory to celebrate Mass for the workers and the children who attend St Augustine’s.
“Fr Joseph has four other outstations he ministers to so that the people don’t have 5-8 miles to walk or hitchhike to get to Mass.
“We really don’t know we are born having the number of churches we have in our diocese.
“Thank you so much to those who have supported this latest project.”

Fr David Smith will be travelling back to Muhoroni on October 26th to visit all of his projects.
