St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School

Pupils from a Sunderland school were the first children to step inside the new recreation of The Grand Cinema at Beamish. The open air museum has recreated The Grand, which was located originally in St Paul’s Terrace, two streets away from St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School in Ryhope.

A Sunderland primary school which puts pupils at the “heart of all decisions” has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Pupils at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, which is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust, “embody the school’s values, including compassion and tolerance”.

A primary school in Sunderland which has “outstanding relationships” and “shows love and care for all pupils” has been praised in a glowing report from the Catholic Schools Inspectorate.
