At the start of lockdown in early 2020, one of our parishioners from Consett, St. Patrick’s, Lorraine Weightman found herself writing poems. She began documenting her thoughts and feelings about the situation she and the rest of us found ourselves in. Some lines are sad and reflective, while others are humorous and amusing; all in all, revealing a very human account of how life was changing and the ways in which we all tried to adapt.
